Dancer of the Month

Our Dancer of the Month for June is Allie B.  Allie has been dancing at SBDS for only 5 years, but in that short amount of time has done tremendously well!  She is currently in Junior Line and Elites, our most advanced competition group.  Last year her audition was so outstanding that she skipped one level: going from Juniors to Elites.  She is a natural and very limber dancer.  Her leaps and splits are awesome!  Allie has a very sweet spirit and holds a positive attitude.  Allie just graduated from Holy Cross and will be a freshman at mercy next year.  We think we are probably related as our families both come from Auburn, NE....Congratsulations, Allie.....Miss Shannon

WELCOME To our 2011/2012 Dance Season!

Welcome to SBDS, (our little acronym for Shannon Barnhart Dance Studio).  We are an established dance studio in midtown Omaha Nebraska in the beautiful Dundee Neighborhood area.

We have been teaching dance now for over 35 years.  Our central location and gorgeous surrounding in an original 1925 art-deco style building makes for fantastic hard-wood floor dancing in a very artistic setting.

We have dance floors with a big waiting room that includesviewing windows to watch your students dance as well greatseating.  We also have a big screen TV for your added enjoyment.

Dance tryouts are coming up.  This is our Select Dance Company team for 2012.  The tryouts are held Saturday June 18 at the Dance Studio.  Call Shannon or pick-up a tryout form during the recital this weekend.

Recital 2011

The theme of this years dance recital is Viva Las Vegas.  This year we are gonna' have fun.
